Every member of LMR needs to be familiar with Jack Ganssle. He is a guru, and my embedded hero. Visit his website, read his books, go to his seminars, or just gaze at his picture, but learn from him. As you may be able to tell, I think highly of him. And now he's a judge for The Hackaday Prize! If you are ever going to write any code in your life, you should read his stuff.
