The euclid Delta Arms come with some extension springs to help get rid of lash in the ball joints.  I was fortunate enough to capture footage of them while they were being made!  Check out the video below:

The machine is called a Coiling Spring Machine.  It takes some time to program the initial setup, but once thats taken care of you can sit back and watch it spit out springs with high precision at an incredible rate.  The wire feeds into the back from a giant reel and the computer aided tool-heads do the rest.  A nice photo of a very similar sized machine by Adtech can be seen below.  More technical details can also be found on their website.
