Ok mate thanks for your time. 

My project doesn't exactly have to be the darwin body.

Is there any other bots you can think of that I could use the upper body from.

I've had a bit of an idea. Would it be possible to make some sort of mold or rough copy of them. Once I receive them I'll remake or re enforce them with fiber glass.

I have a budget of £400 on body parts so I'm open to anything.

in the next days, I'll receive my kit to assemble a SmartRap ( http://reprap.org/wiki/Smartrap_mini )

I'm planning a lot of sleepless night to quickly assemble and produce the tonns of STL I gathered and already created :)
