New to all this but wanting to jump in as it intrigues my creative side, I have a Raspberry Pi and a Arduino Uno so will the Polargraph work with an Uno and say Adafruit Motor Shield V2 or will the POLARSHIELD V2 plug into an Uno?

What's the current lead time on ~Polarshield's?

I forgot to mention I'm hoping to use the Pi as basically the box instead of a PC because I have it working with a 24 Prolite touch screen

There is firmware available for UNO and MEGA.
The Adafruit shields (v1 or v2) work on UNOs, the Polarshield works with a MEGA.

The controller software runs on a machine with a JVM, but uses a bit of memory and CPU. It won't be comfortable running on a Pi, even if you can get it going.

Lead time on Polarshields is about a week at the moment.
