Hi Sandy and all you other Polargraphers,

I have a request for a new feature in a future firmware. I would like a "lift servo" button. Sometimes i have to cancel a drawing because it is not like I wished it would be. When i cancel it the servo does not lift the gondola because it is not ready. So i have to lift the servo with my hand by turning it. When I now want to start a new drawing the maschine thinks the servo is not lifted so it wants to start drawing with the lifted gondola. I have to turn the servo back per hand.
It would help me if you could script a "lift servo" command to avoid this Problem. Or maybe Iam to blind to see that there is a easy solution for the problem already in the firmware.

Hi Stephan, in the polargraph controller you can use the "#" key to raise the pen and the "~" key to drop it. Or it's the other way around, I can never remember which raises and which lowers! And I keep on meaning to add a button to do it. I've got a few controller upgrades that I need to make to support the polargraphSD functions, and I'll try to remember to add a specific button for it.

Just wanted to update this thread to say v1.1.8 of the controller has a lift up/down button now: Controller v1.1.8.
