Post Cant start the controller software

I have trouble starting the controller. ( Polargraph 2015-09-13\controller\application.windows64\polargraphcontroller.exe )

After doubleclicking the exe only a default.properties.txt is created and nothing else happens.

There is not even an Error Message or logfile.
How can i find out what is wrong ? Where are errors being logged to?

Last time I tried (it's been a long time), the 64bit version doesn't work. Try the version in the application.windows32 folder.

Two options:
1) The current version is built using Processing 2. That's a bit untested. You might try the previous version, see if that makes any difference. https://github.com/euphy/polargraphcontroller/releases/tag/2015-07-18-10-05

2) Compile and run from source in Processing. The controller is primarily distributed as a source code package, and only secondarily as a compiled binary.

... a quick Google @ this error suggests my Java installation is broken, i'll report the status after doing a clean Java 8 reinstall.

Exporting application has never been very reliable in processing - in my experience. Errors that do happen are buried, and it's pretty hard to figure out what the problem is. Always been a bit flakey. One of the reasons I'd love to get away from Processing.
