Post Single vector line vs. Outlines help

Hello! I'm converting typography into vector shapes in Illustrator through "Type > Create Outlines>."

This works apparently, however the issue is the "outlines" part. If I import an svg. of the aforementioned into the PG controller software the machine actually draws the vector outlines around the typography, which takes longer and has a different impact on the quality of the job. Is there a way to have typography converted into single vector lines in Illustrator or in Inkscape?

Any help is appreciated. 😎

The machine doesn't speak curves, so any curved lines (such as the outlines of shapes) are broken down into a series of straight lines, and rendered as such.
