Hi All,
Here's my latest vector-based picture, which uses the inset path technique for the shadows, but the rest is just very detailed paths done in a total of seven colours - 2 greys, 3 browns/beiges, Blue and black.

There was A LOT of path editing to get what I wanted - the sky was a sea of speckles, as was the water and a lot of the paths generated overlapped and had to be worked on so as not to end up with a muddy mess.

On the physical side, I was experimenting with some new paper, and I don't like it - it's too absorbent and I prefer a whiter paper so I won't use it again, it's back to Bristol Board for me. However the quick pen-change mod worked a charm and made the swapping of colours a doddle.

I'm pretty chuffed at the result 🙂 What do you think? Please let me know, even if you think it's crap!

That looks great! You are truly the master of multi-pass polargraphing. I wonder if lay persons would immediately jump to the "computer drawn" association upon seeing this. It could be some kind of etching.

There have been a few mornings (in my distant past, I assure you), when the world looked all squiggly like that.

Whoa this is great! Kong is right, it doesn't look machiney - it has a photo-process quality to it. And a labour of love too - I dare you to do another one 🙂
