the new controller solved every visualization issue, but i'm having some problem.....
I don't have lot of ram so sometimes i had to restart the controller, after one of this reboot the controller was not able to find the serial connection...
I've re-uploaded the arduino server sketch (1.0 and the arduino softoware has no problem founding the serial connection), checked every processing file, i've tried to set the serial port in the properties file but nothing seem to work...
Any suggestion?

But that's beside the point here. Could you post the text that comes up in your console when you start the processing sketch? This lists the available ports and describes which one it's trying to connect to - might give you a message about what's going wrong. I guess you're just getting a "not connected" message in your status line in the application?

i've noticed that no matter what usb i use arduino always see it as com10 is that normal?

There was another "issue", when i select "set home" the point is not in the center, i've solved it clicking "set home" then positioning the pen fisically in the center then clicking "set pen position" on the center in the controller.
After solving the serial problem i'll post a screenshot to show you the difference but as i can remenber it seems to be the center of the starting frame.

in your properties file? It looks like it's set not to attempt to make a serial connection - certainly no errors are being thrown up, but also no messages saying that any attempts had been done. I struggle to think how it might have got reset back to -1, but just have a check. I'll have a look at the set home thing as well. I have made the home point a discrete value so it isn't linked to the page position any more, but I guess that's not working quite how I imagined.

Probably i've clicked "reset machine to factory" and so the serial port changed to -1 (that i thought that -1 was correct).
