Post Pen lift wont work

Hey, I'm trying to use the pin lift function but it doesn't work, when connected, the servo slightly moves which shows it isn't stuck but when sending the commands there's no movement.
I also tried 3 other servos with the same result.
anyone knows how do I troubleshot this?
I'm using Uno and sheild V1 (both from Ebay)

There's some controls on the "setup" tab in the controller software that change the sweep range - try a few options and run "test lift range". Also make sure you've uploaded your machine spec ("upload machine spec").

Last thing - make sure you've connected the servo the right way around. The signal pin should go to the lightest coloured wire on the servo (white or orange).
