Post "Test lift range" works, but "pen lift" / "pen drop" dont

Hi. I have a weird issue with pen lift servo.

It is attached to Servo_2 connector of my Adafruit motor shield v1 knock-off bought on AliExpress. Board is labeled "DK Electronics". Servo_2 is connected to Arduino pin 9.

I tested it with standard "sweep" sketch supplied with Arduino IDE. I've determined that I need the range from 130 to 179 degrees.

"Test lift range" button in Controller works nicely - it lowers and lifts the pen twice. But "pen lift" / "pen drop" buttons do not work, neither pen is lowered when polargraph is running the queue. Manual keystrokes of "#" and "~" don't work as well.

Any suggestions on where to look? Thank you.

I have the same board and it works fine with me. What I did was to change the delay for the servo as my servo is alittle bigger and slower. Maybe that's something you might want to try.

Hitting "upload lift range" did the trick for me. Correct values were in the code and in settings file, but it looks like the firmware needed additional hit to digest the supplied values.
