We recently added OPENBEAM Aluminum Extrusions to our range of products and we have been building all kinds of cool machines with the extrusions. The beauty of this extrusion design is that it replaced the normal expensive T-Nuts with M3 nuts that are readily available and cheap.
We did however discover that M3 nuts are tiny… 
So we designed a small tool to make easy to insert them.
The tool has been 3D printed on on our UP! Plus 3D Printer and is very easy to print. We have also uploaded the design to Thingivers.com so people can improve the design and extend it if they want.
To use the tool you simply insert it into the OPENBEAM extrusion slots and slide the nuts in place.
