Hi All, I'm new here..
Long time listener, First time caller..
Wile waiting quietly for my Polargraph SD vitamin kit to arrive I have been toying around with the Polargraph Server firmware on an Arduino with a adafruit motor shield.. (The only stepper I have are to small to do much with..they where from an old project)
Long story short I didnt have a USB cable long enough and 2.4Ghz Xbee's muck with my mouse/keyboard...
Soooo I had a pair of 3DR Radio 433Mhz radios sitting on my desk,
Turns out they work! Best think is their header is standard FTDI-style pinout! fully programable blah blah blah...
Im not affiliated with 3DR at all, just thought they might come in handy for someone that needs a long range link
Have a looksie here http://store.diydrones.com/3DR_Radio_433Mhz_Ground_module_p/br-3dr433.htm
