Hallo, I include 4m of cord in with the kits, that's enough for a machine that can do A1 sized drawings, which is about as big as you'll commonly find cut paper. To work out how much you need, take the diagonal size of your drawing surface (that is, the maximum distance the gondola will ever have to move) and add a foot on for fastenings and clearance over the motors. And get twice that, because there's two cords.

It's cheap as chips though, once you've got a big roll, so if you've ordered stuff from the shop, and you need more in the future, just drop me a line and I'll hook you up. I think I'm mixing my metaphors there, and I like it.

Aha, yes just add a bunch of them if you want more than one meter. I can't figure out how to get a "quantity" listed in the item details so you can add more than one at a time. Remember that the vitamin kit comes with cord already in it though.
