i found the time to play a little with my polargraph. a lot of fun 🙂 tried sucssefully the sprite and norwegian features. i am just wondering about the parameters on norwegian. as fare as i understood is the amplitute setting the distance between the single lines and the wavelength the length of the single waves. are there any other parameters like pen size or pixle scaling involved?

Good stuff, it's as simple as it looks, you've got it right.It's a direct linear scaling between the pixel darkness and the width of the wave. Pen size isn't used at all, and none of the regular pixel controls have any effect on it.

got it, really amazing how detailed even very small pictures are. using the variable waves you need to create much bigger pictures if you like to have them detailed.
