The Arduino IDE is always introducing new features, some of which break old code, and I can't make everything backwards compatible. I'd recommend upgrading your IDE. You can install the new version alongside the old version without any problems, if you want to keep using 1.0.5 for other things. (IDE 1.6 breaks a lot of things too...)
