I put up a 2.5m wide polargraph over the weekend for an exhibition and made a little big experiment with the new polygonizer function 😎
And my second little (sparkfun) servo served me very well! 130.183 polygons and penlifts in approx. 76hrs ! (and the same amount in testing before...

still need to fiddle around with the parameters to get better control over the transition zones....but the abstraction is also nice anyway (in my eyes at least 😎 )

Josep, In case of the fishes, as I am no pro in processing, I just fiddled around for a very long time with the parameters of Dullbits script...the colour splitting I did in Photoshop by simply changing the mode to CMYK and splitting the channels. 😎 I then processed the 4 different greyscale images separately... always looking for a workaround if possible...

krummrey, I started working on a new "plug and play" penholder that clamps the pen automatically...based on Sandy's design...but it doesn't really work yet...need some more iterations...will upload it as soon as I am satisfied with it....
but I anyway only needed to put 4 different pens (that's why I am so obsessed with CMYK lately)...within a total of 34 hrs and 35 mins in case of the A2...so changing a pen for a couple of minutes wouldn't really blow up "printing" time that much... 😉
