A few months back I remember seeing a cartesian plotter drawbot (maybe from some group at MIT) that was set up in a H-Bot style configuration using a string and pulley system (the pulleys were 3d printed as I recall). It was designed to plot on textiles.

Anyone else see this thing and still have a link to it?
