Well I fitted the pen up today and had a little test print, although the mesh ended up a bit busy. Im not familiar working with vector stuff and would like to work out how to optimise Svg's as even once I had run the queue through the optimiser there seemed to be a fair amount of pen up's .

Also came across this bit of software for Halftone conversion from raster images it's not free... It doesn't have Svg support as of yet but can export to Eps and Pdf
