Post Pen lift not working ?

Pen lift stopped working mid draw.
Tried connecting via processing and manually sending lift and drop commands, only get faint buzzing from servo.
Checked all connections etc.
I have been doing vector drawings with lots of lift/ drop, do these servos fail at all ?
Disconnecting it, it feels almost as if it is jammed solid.

One I had lasted years, another lasted a week. I'll post another one! When they get locked, sometimes it's just jammed at one end of it's travel. Gentle but forceful push to move the control horn slowly.

Dismantled the servo. (four tiny screws)
Cleaned the gears of grease and black gunk (cotton wool buds and alcohol)
Works !! . Tiny compound gear train probably only takes a tiny speck to jam it
