Hi friends!!

I have a little problem that is distorbing me, I think is something basic but I can´t solve it.

I have done a template in Inkscape with the dimensions of the machine in px and that template work when I do lines or inkscape hand drawings, but when I write text that text don´t appear in the svg file imported in the machine. I´ve tried to do everything ...save like .svg inkscape file, plane svg file and It didn´t show the text! 😕 but when I open the file with the explorer it appears, weird, weird 🙁

also I have downloaded some fractals file in .svg format and I can see them perfectly in inkscape but when I load them in the machine don´t appear. any help please?

anyway thank you very much for the proyect Sandy and everybody for the contributions its amazing I have spent the last two days mounting a poor mans polargraph a 😀 nd have done my first steps and its amazing the potencial in side the project!

Hi Manu! To solve your problem, you need to convert your text objects to paths, which are the only things in an SVG the polargraph controller will draw. I'm going to assume this is the same issue with the fractal files.

1. In Inkscape, select the object.
2. In the top menu, go to "Path/Object to Path" or use the shortcut Shift+Cntrl+C
3. Save your file.
