Post [Solved] Polargraph crashes while drawing

Hey everyone,
I recently built a polargraph with an arduino UNO R3, an adafruit shield v2.3, a servomotor and two nema 17 steppermotors. The belt is a timing belt. I used the newest software and firmware from this site. The arduino is powerd by usb, the motorshield by an external 12v 1000ma adapter (of course without the jumper). My laptop is operating with windows 10.

The Problem:
While drawing, the mashine always goes busy after about 15 minutes and the steppermotors stop turning. It seems like, the arduino loses the usb connection (see photo). the only way to reconnect is to restart the controller.
I tried a new usb cable, many different parameters and switched the motorshield, but the problems still occur.
Also, when I first connect the mashine the error from picture 2 shows up. I don't know what it means (I really have no idea about programming)

I could not find a solution in the forum and hope, you can help me.

By the way, I'm still a big fan of this Projekt

Update:
When I unplug the motorshield (so that the arduino draws only digitaly) there is no crash, but if I plug it in again while drawing, after a few minutes the drawing turns to an endles "busy" again and crashes.

I fixed the Problem! after checking every hard- and softwareaspect I could find, the last thing I checked was my order. They sent me the wrong steppers! I feel so stupid for not checking this before.. Instead of 350mA Amazon sent me 2A. Changed them - everything works fine.

Juhu!

Yikes - do you think the motor drivers were just overheating? It often will cause a reset if they overheat.

They and also the steppers didn't even get warm. Thats why I first did not think about the motors. Anyway, its fixed now. Just a follow up: Is it possible, to run a display and sd if I use a mega with the ams 2.3 instead of the uno? and do I need a paticular lcd or could i use this one from Elegoo? https://www.amazon.de/Elegoo-Touchscreen-Arduino-Bibliotheken-Mitgeliefert/dp/B01EUVJYME/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_147_lp_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G19ZRHGK53S6BS96KW2D

I've never been done, but I can't think of a reason why it can't.

The LCD that is configured for is one like this https://wholesaler.alibaba.com/product-detail/2-4-inch-TFT-LCD-Display_60066139690.html with a parallel data interface. The actual LCD drawing routines use the UTFT library though, so it could probably be swapped out for another LCD fairly easily if it was one supported by UTFT (http://www.rinkydinkelectronics.com/library.php?id=51).
