I'm new to all of this but I am having issues installing the software. I have tried clicking on polargraphcontroller in 32 bit and 64 bit and tried "run as admin" on both. I also updated Java.

Once I click "Run" and just has the hourglass icon circle thing and doesn't do anything after. I have windows 64 bit and I've tried searching in these forums but cannot seem to find any help thus far. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

The Polargraph Controller is a bit of a dog. I get that you've tried running the compiled binaries - the .exe files. That seems to be pretty brittle, and works or doesn't work based on the direction of the wind, the alignment of the planets etc.

You say also that you click "run" though, does that mean that you've also tried running it from source through Processing too?

that's is where I have been trying to run it. I turned off my antivirus and instead of getting a spinning circle (to wait) it stopped and then a default.properties showed up in the same folder. I have extracted all of the files too.

So my question is where do I run it from source through processing? I looked for a way to do what you are suggesting in the source folder where polargraphcontroller is but I couldn't find anything that I could run.

This is the first thing I have tried installing. Maybe there are other things I need to have installed on my comp before this?

which is still actually the best guide to getting set up.

The reason I thought you'd already done this is that the Processing app itself has a "run" button to run the program!
