Ok, so I, like many others, are struggling with the vector portion. Welcome to the big leagues, I suppose. Anyway, my problem is that I have an svg file from inkscape like I've seen others do and I created a vector image and all of that jazz. I bring it into the interface and have the area selected, framed etc. But when I click "Draw Vectors" it creates commands in the queue like it should, but then it just begins performing the commands without any physical work being done with the steppers. What am I doing wrong that you guys can think of? I hope this requires a simple answer or I will go into more detail about the issue. Thanks.

You're doing a "set home" as the first command?

When this happens, have you tried opening the console (cntrl-c) to see what communication is happening?

That was going to be my next suggestion, but I went to sleep instead.

In this scenario I expect to find the machine saying a lot of "line is not on the page, skipping it". And that's usually because I have changed the machine size, and not done "upload machine spec", or I've forgotten to home it so the pens _current_ position isn't even on the page.

Have just remembered that the console doesn't work in the new version of the controller.

But, error messages should be being fed back to the controller, and displayed in a column to the right of the command queue.
