Still trying out new settings and pen/paper combinations. It looks really promising!

Beautiful drawings! And impressive photographs too - norwegian pixel is made for shallow depth-of-field eh 🙂 Are these using adapted firmware, or the standard polargraph one?

Thanks Sandy. These are using the adapted firmware.

Hi All/Sandy,
i tried using the norwegian draw function in polargraph Controller for the first time today. I dont have a polargraph with sd Card rather direct connect to pc. So I dont know where i have to place the Image.pbm inorder to have it uploaded to the Controller. I have copy and pasted in a number of Locations and typed in the file Name but continue recieveing a not recognized error command. Any ideas? thanks

The definitive resource is still http://www.polargraph.co.uk/2012/08/norwegian-pixel/ and as it says, it draws from the file on the SD card.

Hello All,
Hi again Sandy, don't know if you'll remember me, bought a kit a while ago, had a lot of fun setting it up and configuring it but soon after moved house, country, got married, had a kid - hence PG got ceremonially dismantled (along with my freedom) - bits went missing in the move etc. ANYHOO! I'm Back! ++ in a new house where the machine has been rebuilt and has its own room, said child sleeps in the garage 😉 - I still think your project is a lot of fun & very inspiring.

wing_nut - this is a fairly old post but I'm interested to get some detail on your technique, materials, scale of your machine and any more recent artwork - no problems if this is a thing of the past for you but your initial results were so impressive I thought I would pick your brains.

Sandy - was the mentioned adapted firmware merged into the standard build or is that something entirely different?

All the best, hope all is well,
Doody

Hi Doody - glad to hear you're back drawing almost!

I didn't see any adaptations to the norwegian pixel code published anywhere so there's been almost no change to that since it was first made.
