I found some old instructions, dated August 4, 2012, but, they don't seem to work with the newest controller program... roving tab is quit different.
So, can you give me a step by step guide for using the Norwegian option...

Roving tab hasn't really changed since then, still do the same thing as in that guide from way back (http://www.polargraph.co.uk/2012/08/norwegian-pixel/):

On the roving tab:
1) "select area" that you want the drawing to go into
2) "send roving area" to the machine - this tells it what space it should be confined to
3) "draw norwegian" which pops up the dialog box where you enter the filename, the wave amplitude and wave length, and can do a trial "trace outline"

You say it doesn't work ... can you say what you've tried and what happens instead?
